Fort Campbell

Fort Campbell is the third largest army installation in the United States. It is a renowned military installation that is recognized by persons all over the world as a Premier Post-Installation. The Installation straddles the Tennessee-Kentucky Borders with two-thirds of the Installation lying inside of the State of Tennessee which includes parts of the Montgomery and Stewart Counties. One-third of the Installation lies in the State of Kentucky and includes Christian and Trigg Counties. It is the Home of the famed Screaming Eagles of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), the160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, the 5th Special Forces Group, Blanchfield Community Hospital, a supporting US Air Force Detachment and other units (see the link –“Fort Campbell Kentucky, Online).

Fort Campbell is a city within itself, with over 4000 homes, seven schools on the Base, the largest Army-AirForce Exchange within Department of Defense, a Commissary to support the installations and thousands of retirees within the area.

The schools at Fort Campbell educate over 4,700 children and young adults each year, taught by 375 teachers.
